Fashion Trends 2011

Hey Fashionistas, just as 50’s and 60’s style clothing are back in style it seems as though the 70’s are trending as well. Bohemian styled clothing with a sleek and sexy style have become a major hit within the fashion community. The key to wearing 70’s styled clothing  is by mixing the boho look to a more sophisticated one. What do you think of this trend?

Also in style for the summer is the biker look. Fashion can sometimes evolve or just fall to the waste side and become a standard. In order to pull off new looks you   have to combine new with the old to make something innovative. This biker chic influenced look definitely belongs on the runway and is a great look for 2011. What do you think of this trend?

2011 has taken on a very unique and modernist appearance especially when it comes to hairstyles. Here are some pictures of  colors and styles that are in this year. What do you think?

Belt purses have become a major fashion accessory for 2011. Women are no longer wearing an ordinary clutch and now take on belt purses as an alternative. It is a very casual and daytime statement  that’s gone from the catwalks to the streets. What do you think of this trend?

Lastly, one of the most important trends you can pick for 2011 is your swimwear. Swim Suites can be very hard to reinvent. So for the most part they follow the same trend as the clothes for that year. In 2010 the style for swimwear were inspired by one shoulder pieces, high end sportswear, and cutaway clothing. However, for this year the style for swimwear is inspired by vintage looks and Swim Suites have never looked more elegant! What do you think of this trend?

What’s in a name?

Hey Fashionistas, the Kardashian sisters have always been very fashion forward women. Their extraordinary style along with their unique personalities have captured the hearts of fashonistas alike. If you haven’t visited their world famous boutiques D-A-S-H in Miami, Calabasas, and Soho(with reports of them opening another new location in Miami) you should!!

However, the sisters do not limit their lines to exclusive locations they have reached out to major retail stores such as Bebe and Sears and now have their very own line on QVC. You don’t have to spend tons of money to look like you belong on the red carpet. What I love about these three sisters is that they make clothes look good for less. Don’t just take my word for it check out http://www.qvc.com to see their new line with QVC , I hope you find this useful!!!
